he ceremonies that I perform are generally civil in nature but are by no means that of which you would find in the Judges Chambers, unless of course you are interested in something more of a Traditional Civil Ceremony. The marriage ceremony is a sacred event and requires the words to reflect the beauty and seriousness of its sacred nature. With that in mind and keeping within tradition of a Sea Captain, I have written my wedding ceremonies to eloquently highlight those key components, making comparisons of marriage to that of the sea as well as advise on what it takes to make a marriage work. The main body of my ceremony is broken down into easily exchangeable parts in the event that you would like to change something such as your Vows, Promises or Blessings or any other part as well. This format makes it easy to mix, match or cut and paste different sections in order to put together a ceremony that directly conveys the way you feel.

My standard officiating is $475.00
Getting Started:
Once you contact me and we get acquainted, time permitted, we will make an appointment for a consultation. During the consultation I will listen carefully to the way you envision your wedding, taking a personal interest in each partner’s special needs while going over the details of the ceremony planning process. You will also receive my easy to follow ceremony selection guide, complete with ceremony samples, poems and readings to assist you in creating a customized ceremony. You may wish to add a traditional wedding option such as the beautiful Unity Candle, Sand Blending, or other symbolic Wedding Tradition
Once you have gone over the material and feel that the ceremony you have created will live up to your particular expectations, please give me a call and I’ll complete the final draft. I’ll send you out a copy prior to your wedding day for approval, making any necessary changes at that time.
